- As of February 16th, 2024, markings have appeared on the ship's deck and bulwarks indicating preparation for scrap has finally begun. This comes after long delays in the process, given that the process was meant to occur in late 2023. It was pushed back to January 1st, 2024, which was then again delayed to February 5th, 2024. This did not come to fruition, however, it seems the new date, February 26th, is set in stone. These markings, from what I can infer, indicate where cuts will be made and what items are possibly being kept. Below are photos of these markings taken on February 16th, 2024 by me. I hope to gather better photographs of these markings but am unsure if this will occur.
